Shangri La Hotel, The Shard, London Bridge
The Shangri La Hotel has 202 guestrooms and suites and occupies floor levels 34 to 55 at The Shard building, which was when constructed the tallest building in Europe.
The hotel project was initially constructed under the management of John Sisk & Co. Ltd with services engineered by Briggs and Forrester MEP Ltd, and subsequently completed by the Chorus Group Ltd.
Euroflo Group Ltd was contracted by Briggs and Forrester, to undertake the chemical cleaning and treatment of all closed system piped services, sterilization of domestic services and commissioning of all air conditioning systems. Upon the termination of the contracts with the initial contractors, EGL were retained by Chorus Group, under a new contract to complete the project.
